Details about second stage CBT
To attend second stage CBT of RRB JE you have to qualify first stage of RRB JE.
The total number of candidates shortlisting for the second stage CBT is 15 times of vacancy. If the post you applied have 50 vacancies then 750 candidates will be shortlisted for second stage. However railway have full authority to increase or decrease this number. ( In RRB ALP exam, RRB mentioned 15 times of number candidate for second stage but they selected 25 times)
Duration of the exam : 120 mins
Number of questions : 150
In an average you will get 45 seconds for a single questions. It will be quite difficult to those who can’t manage time effectively. good method to crack time manangement is training hard to solve questions as soon as possible. If your basics in core subjects are stong then you can solve those 100 questions from your core fastly.

Mark Distribution for RRB JE second stage :
Minimum percentage of marks for eligibility in various categories: UR -40%, OBC-30%, SC-30%, ST -25%. This percentage of marks for eligibility may be relaxed by 2% for PwBD candidates, in case of shortage of PwBD candidates against vacancies reserved for them.
